The situation is still all in the making, above all due to the double appeal of Salernitana at the TFN (National Federal Court) which decided to challenge both the 211 press release of the B. League of 18 May – relating to the postponement of the playout originally against Frosinone – and the number 224 of June 5 which defined times and dates of the “redesigned” playouts after the Brescia case without specifying the names of the participating teams. But a first step has been taken: because now, those names are written black on white. The Lega B, through a new press release published in the morning, made the “coupling of the playout races” known: Sampdoria-Salernitana. The dates will remain those anticipated by the FIGC President Gravina a few days ago. That is, Sunday 15 June at 20.30 for the first leg of Ferraris in Genoa and Friday 20 (always at 20.30) at the Arechi in Salerno.

If it is true that dates and teams participating in the playout have been defined, it is equally true that the outcome of the Salerno appeal to the TFN will be expected. The defensive line of the Iervolino club is very simple: the playout should have played against Frosinone, then the subsequent penalty of Brescia would have rewritten the ranking by saving the team losing the playoff. The precautionary hearing relating to the two appeals is set for Friday 13 June at 3 pm, exactly two days after the first leg. And if even only one was welcomed, the regular dispute of the playout would seem difficult, since it would only be the merit on Thursday 19. The feeling, in a situation of chaos, is that everything can happen. But the official publication of participating teams, dates and times of the playout represents a first step towards the regular dispute of the playoff.
