After just one year, Maxi Oyedele is apparently faced with a farewell to Legia Warsaw. On Sunday, transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano reported an interest from Bremen. In addition to Werder, VfL Wolfsburg also seems to have an eye on the 20 -year -old defensive midfielder.

On Monday, the “kicker” wrote that the wolves would deal intensively with Oyedele, who, according to Romano, had an exit clause over 6 million euros in his contract, which was valid until 2027. 40 percent of this would be due to the Manchester United training club. Such a sum is very different for the Bremen and the Wolfsburgers, who have not yet presented any external newcomers.
For Werder it would be very high expenses in the face of the past transfers; Most recently, 2020/21 was invested more than 6 million euros for Leonardo Bittencourt. Wolfsburg, on the other hand, had paid a total of 21 times more than 6 million euros for a player transfer since 2020.
Oyedele was recently the largest winner of the market value update in Polish Ekstraklasa. Youngster, born in Salford, climbed a whopping 2.5 million to EUR 4 million, with which he jumped from the top 5 of the most valuable player in the league. Oyedele played 24 games for Legia in the past season, and in the meantime he had been slowed down by an ankle injury. He had previously been trained at Man United since 2021, including two borrowing.
