Sons was one of the largest Telstar supporters ever. He came to the club from Velsen-Zuid for more than sixty years and often attracted attention to the north stand. “With his homemade billboards, horn, flag and air guitar, he made an unparalleled atmosphere at every home game,” can be read on the Club page of Telstar.
His nickname thanked Zoontjes from a prediction that came out against the then AZ’67, after which ‘Jomanda Ohooooo’ became a permanent slogan at Sportpark Schoonenberg. In 2013 he was appointed a supporter for life.
