No proverbial ghosts, but whole zippers animal species were around at night at the country’s cemeteries. The final resting places are a true paradise for rabbits, hares, martens, geese, herons, chews, roe deer and sometimes even wolves. Often annoying for relatives who complain when they find a beast of animals such as sagging graves, mud on the memorial stone or eaten flower arrangements during a visit. Shooting the ‘perpetrators’ is not an option: “We work in and with nature.”
