Switch to FC Bayern? Liverpool star comments

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
According to media reports, Cody Gakpo could leave FC Liverpool after two and a half years – and switch to Bayern. At a press conference in front of the Dutch duel with his national team against Finland, the player himself didn’t want to know anything about it: “I haven’t heard of it myself. I shield myself from it,” said Gakpo.
And further: “Maybe my consultant heard something, but I’m concentrating on myself.” Gakpo switched from PSV Eindhoven to English champion in winter 2023. Since then he has played 128 competitive games for Liverpool.
Gabriel Vidović only played eight games for the professionals of FC Bayern. Last season, the 21-year-old offensive player was also loaned to Mainz from August 2024 to February 2025. Now the talent is probably facing the jump: According to the Croatian newspaper “24 Sata”, Vidović is facing a move to Dinamo Zagreb.
The club already knows the player because Vidović was loaned to the club from August 2023 to June 2024. According to the report, the German record champions should receive a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros. Vidović’s working paper for Munich runs until summer 2026.
Leading player Granit Xhaka has left his future with football runner-up Bayer Leverkusen beyond summer. At a press conference of the Swiss national team before the friendly against Mexico in Salt Lake City, the 32-year-old also avoided a commitment to the factory club with a view to the upcoming upheaval in Leverkusen.
