The event is completely sold out for participants, in addition, money is raised by sponsors, the public and the drinks. The 30 participating teams, some only participate in others at the tandem, get rid of a ramp, after which the track becomes narrower. At the end the bell hangs. The intention is of course to get the bell, but many don’t get it.
“Yes, we suffered from oncoming traffic,” one of the participants who did not make it to the Belt. “We do have a horn with us, but we didn’t use it, so we had to give way.” So in the water.
