Norwegian gynecologist (55) sentenced to 21 years in prison for dozens of rapes

A Norwegian doctor was sentenced on Friday to 21 years in prison for dozens of rapes and assault of female patients for a period of almost twenty years. The 55-year-old Arne Bye was found guilty of 70 rapes and assault between 2004 and 2022 in his medical practice in Frosta, a city in the middle of Norway, and 82 cases of abuse of function.
