The Europaweg and Afrikaweg close for a few nights

Are you used to driving in and out of the city via the Europaweg and Afrikaweg? Just pay attention, because these roads close for three nights. This is due to work on one lane.

The nocturnal closure starts with the Afrikaweg on the night of Monday 9 (Whit Monday) on Tuesday 10 June. The portals on the roads are being replaced. These are supporting structures on which signs or traffic lights hang.

From Australia to Africa and America

The diversion routes run those three nights via the America road or the Europaweg, for example. The closures are on these dates and times:

• The night from 9 to 10 June 2025, Afrikaweg in the direction of the center closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• The night from 10 to 11 June 2025, Afrikaweg in the direction of the center closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• The night from 11 to 12 June 2025, Europaweg in the direction of the A12 closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Tunnel bin also closed

According to performer Danny Nortier of the Vermeulen Group, the tunnel bin also closes once in the night. It is about the night from Thursday 12 to Friday 13 June. This is in preparation for other activities. You can then ride on the Europaweg on the top.
