The Hajduk Split chapter for Gennaro Gattuso ends after a year. As the club announced, the parties separate after the past season, which the nine -time Croatian champion ended in third place. That from the 47-year-old Italian had indicated (for the article).
Of the 43 games under Gattuso, Hajduk won 20 and went nine times as a loser. Already in the early phase, the traditional Croatian club failed in the qualification for the Conference League and ended the season with 63 points from 36 games – the worst result in four years. In the cup, the club had to delete the sail in the quarter -finals after a 1: 3 against HNK Rijeka.
