In the quarter-finals of the French Open there was a top duel between Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic. The German pulled the shorter in a fact that exciting only in phases.
Alexander Zverev left the French Open in the quarterfinals. In the top duel with a record grand slam champion Novak Djokovic, the German had to give up in four sets with 6: 4, 3: 6 and 4: 6.
The world ranking third had actually found better into the game, secured a quick break and later the first sentence. But from sentence two Zverev’s game became too prone to errors. He gave too many points and thus decisive breaks to his opponent, who won the sentences two and three. Even in the fourth sentence, the German made a quick break. In the final phase, he hung up again and developed break chances, but the “Djoker” remained freezing cold and brought the victory over the finish line.
The dream of the first Grand Slam title for Zverev does not come true again. Meanwhile, Djokovic plays against the world ranking of Jannik Sinner in the semi -finals, for the chance of winning his 25th title.
