Severe storms are expected for the evening in southern Germany. The game of the national team could also be affected. The UEFA has already commented.

The weather could change especially in the run -up to the game. Big hail and hurricane gusts.”

According to the German Weather Service, violent thunderstorms are expected in Bavaria from the afternoon. The focus of the storm could be between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. – i.e. immediately before the start of the game. The meteorologists warn with heavy rain, gusts of wind and hail. Hailcorns could be up to five centimeters in size. However, an expert from the DWD noted that the heaviest thunderstorms could possibly pass Munich north.

The association said on Wednesday that the weather situation was observed together with the responsible authorities. However, there is currently no reason to shake at the planned start of the game at 9:00 p.m. (in the live ticker at T-Online).

On -site spectators are asked to adjust to rain and bring the appropriate clothing. Rain ponchos and jackets are recommended, the organizer said.
