The ANWB expected a lot of traffic on Friday due to the start of the long Pentecost weekend. Many people go out for campsites and holiday parks. In addition, the announced train strike at the Dutch Railways will probably provide more delay and traffic jams on the road.
The first traffic jams will already arise around noon. Most traffic jams are expected in Brabant and Gelderland, with the peak between three and half past five in the afternoon. Rain can also cause the traffic to be delayed. Last year there was almost a thousand kilometers of traffic jams on Friday before Pentecost.
Also on Thursday evening the evening rush hour is probably busier than usual.
