Rounded almost a quarter of a billion euros in crime gain. That is what the Public Prosecution Service (OM) wants to take away from Jos Leijdekkers, aka Bolle Jos. Such a mega amount has never been demanded in our country before. The calculation does not just fall from the sky. According to the OM, the Bredanaar Kolossal amounts made on flee stabbed a luxury yacht, and expensive watches of a million euros each.
Born Bredanaar Jos Leijdekkers (33) harvests one after the other conviction. 24 years in prison in the Netherlands, more than 30 years in Belgium. The tons of coke flew around the ears. All in all, it is not surprising that astronomical amounts roll out.
At the start of the Kaalpluk process in the Netherlands, the public prosecutor presented eight ‘new’ drug transports. They come on top of the six he has already been convicted. Loads of Coke that were seized between December 2019 and August 2020 in Rotterdam, Antwerp, France, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Uruguay.
‘Not to contain’
A total of 14 drug transports of 14,000 kilos of coke together. Specialists from the police and the judiciary counted all the transports together. According to the commercial prices of the time. Subsequently, the editions that Jos Leijdekkers had were calculated. The outcome was 114 million euros. The public prosecutor was aware of that.
“An amount of more than 114,000,000 euros is, to be honest, a substantial amount. For most people it is not to contain that this amount can be invested by one person in parties cocaine in one year. It is really just an amount of a size that only occurs in business,” the officer said.

“But that is exactly what the international cocaine trade is, namely ‘big business’, in which exorbitant amounts are circulating, with the important difference that it is now a criminal and harmful product that earns criminal profits.”
The calculators still call that amount ‘on the low side’, because a fair distribution of the investments has been made. The OM also thinks that Leijdekkers as an organizer and boss claimed more profit.
Chat
Proof comes from cracked chat messages from the Criminal app Skyecc. It contains all kinds of chats that are linked to Jos Leijdekkers. According to the OM, for example, those reports are about the purchase of a huge batch of gold, in less than six months. Leijdekkers bought 975 kilos, for more than 47 million euros.
The police intercepted a photo that they attribute to him. There are four bins on that photo with 25 bars of gold each. That gold is popular among criminals, because gold is stable and the origin is difficult to trace.
In addition to those drugs and that mountain of gold, the police and the judiciary discovered more investments that Leijdekkers made.
Casino
Police and the judiciary started counting in 2016. That was the last year that he lived in the Netherlands, because on 15 June he officially wrote out. Then Leijdekkers had an annual income of more than 9000 euros and more than 5000 euros in profit from the casino. All legal, according to the OM. Then still.
In 2017, after his departure from the Netherlands, he bought an apartment in Dubai. He reportedly paid 646,000 euros. In 2019 he bought an apartment for his mother and paid 1.8 million euros, according to the researchers. In 2020 he bought a complete hotel in Bodrum (Turkey) for 500,000 euros.
Luxury stuff
He also put crime money in the purchase of Bentley’s, such as a car of 228,000 euros. The OM has recorded one in the photo in Dubai. And he put money in luxury designer bags and the most expensive watches. For example, he would have bought two watches from Patek Philippe for one million each.

The OM also links Leijdekkers to a money find in London. More than 4.3 million euros popped up there. More details were not announced.
Luxury yacht and private aircraft
The researchers also saw his luxury lifestyle, without having an official income or a job. For example, it has become clear that Leijdekkers with his family in Turkey floats around a luxury hunt for 62,000 euros a week and he rented private aircraft and a Lamborghini.
The calculators at the judiciary counted everything together and also took into account the increase in value of the gold. For example, the total amount of crime profit amounted to 221,675,808 euros.
The public prosecutor stated on Monday that Leijdekkers still has enough money left to arrange security and to stay out of the hands of the authorities. He was described as “a man who makes spending all over the world and distributes gifts.”
‘Even the beginning’
The public prosecutor called the millions claim ‘only the beginning’. “Finding the power is of course not a simple process.”
As expected, Leijdekkers was absent in court. As far as is known, he has no lawyer. The Bredanaar is on the run and has appeared in recent years in Turkey and Sierra Leone.
The court in Rotterdam will rule on this case on 14 July.
