Football Bundesliga club FC Augsburg releases his offensive player Irvin Cardona to AS Saint-Étienne. At the French club, the 27-year-old had played on loan since the winter break, now Saint-Étienne pulled the purchase option.
The FCA announced this on Monday. For the Augsburgers, Cardona had played 13 competitive games, he had a goal and a template.
“The fixed change is a good solution for everyone involved. Irvin gets the chance to play an important role in his new club,” said Augsburg’s managing director Michael Ströll. The Frenchman Cardona switched from Stade Brest to FCA in January 2023, and briefly played on a loan for Espanyol Barcelona.
