Bundesliga relegation Holstein Kiel releases full-back Jonas Sterner to the future second division competitor Hannover 96.
As both clubs announced on Monday, the 23-year-old, who most recently played for Dynamo Dresden, changes to the Lower Saxony and receives a contract until 2028. The transfer modalities have been agreed.
96 sees the native Husumer as a player with a lot of offensive urge. “He only turned 23 a few weeks ago – we are convinced that he can already assert himself well in the 2nd league, but at the same time did not yet have arrived at the end of his development,” said Managing Director Marcus Mann.
