It has not yet been clarified which head coach of 1. FC Köln will start in the Bundesliga season 2025/2026. On Sunday evening, however, it seeped through: it will probably be Lukas Kwasniok. The previous coach of SC Paderborn mentioned after “Sky” information on the weekend before the joint committee of the Effzeh and apparently convinced the bosses.
Now the direct negotiations between 1. FC Köln and the trainer or his management are running. The SC Paderborn, where Kwasniok is still under contract until 2026, is said to require a transfer of up to one and a half million euros, according to the media report.
