Eva Jinek really got a known twist around her ears when she suddenly sat up with a gnome hat in her serious talk show on NPO 1. Does she regret that? “Really blissful.”
It was a strange TV moment: Eva Jinek who decided to set up a gnome plop hat during a conversation with spiritual father Gert Verhulst. He is the man behind the Studio 100 company that makes children’s series such as Kabouter Plop, and that is why the presenter seemed nice to do part of the interview with a gnome hat.

How does Eva Jinek look back on that? After her last broadcast of the season, she says Shownieuws: “Yes, I thought it was great to put that hat on my head. Really blissful.”
She doesn’t regret. “Of course I have little chance to do that kind of ridiculous things. Of course at work with my colleagues, but on image less, so if the chance presents itself, I will take them.”
Unreal
How does it feel for Eva to close the first season of her new talk show at the NPO? “It was very exciting to leave RTL, to make the switch. A new program, a new format, a new time that I didn’t know yet.”
It all succeeded, and now she has a few months off. “Also unreal. It has of course been all the time in the last eight months and now it ends at once, so that’s crazy.”
