Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. In the New sticker on T-Online you will find all the important messages about the “red pants”.

It was speculated for a long time: Jonathan Tah’s transfer to Bayern is fixed. He changes free of charge from Bayer Leverkusen to the German champion. The 29-year-old central defender signed a working paper in Munich by June 30, 2029.

Sports director Max Eberl said: “It’s no secret that we have had Jonathan Tah on the radar for a long time. We appreciate his class: he is a guy who takes responsibility.” Tah himself is looking forward to his new club: “I would like to take responsibility here and work hard every day so that we are successful as a team and win many titles together,” he said, according to a message.

It is still open whether Tah can take part in the club World Cup (June 14th to July 13th). To do this, the Munichers would have to pay a transfer of Leverkusen. If this amounts to more than 7.5 million euros, the HSV would also earn a diligence thanks to a clause agreed at the then transfer to Bayer 04: ten percent of the sum then went to Hamburg. However, this is unlikely – there is a transfer fee of around one million euros in the room.

From 2009 to 2013, Jonathan Tah played in the HSV youth. Under Thorsten Fink, Rodolfo Cardoso and Bert van Marwijk, the then 17-year-old played 20 competitive games in the Bundesliga and in the DFB Cup for the “red pants” in 2013/14. Mirko Slomka sent the 35-time international back to the U19. After a loan to Fortuna Düsseldorf, Tah moved to Leverkusen in summer 2015.

Davie Selke scored 22 second division goals at the historical promotion season of Hamburger SV. And yet the striker’s intermezzo at HSV could end after only one year. According to a report by “Sky Sport”, the 30-year-old is likely to leave the red pants with the expiry of his contract on June 30th.

The “Sportbild” also reports that the contractual discussions between Selke and HSV have so far remained without a positive result despite the negotiations since January. Accordingly, the attacker deals with a change. According to the “Sportbild”, there should be enough interested parties-for example from the USA, England, Saudi Arabia and the Bundesliga.

According to the information, Union Berlin has also positioned itself for a transfer. There, a former companion as a coach is responsible in Steffen Baumgart. Both worked together in the Bundesliga season 2023/24 at the 1st FC Köln.

For 15 years, Valon Zumberi wore the jersey of Hamburger SV. In the upcoming Bundesliga season, the 22-year-old is no longer part of the squad. As the club announced, the collaboration with the central defender ends.

“For me, the HSV was not just an association – it was home, challenge, school and stage at the same time,” wrote Zumberi on Instagram. He goes with a laughing and a thoughtful eye: “There are people who live this club with passion. And then there are those where you ask yourself how they actually got there.”

Moved from Norderstedt to Hamburg at the age of seven, Valon Zumberi went through all the HSV’s youth teams. In 2022 he signed a professional contract, the following season he played twice in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the 2023/24 season, the U21 international of Kosovo played on loan in Switzerland at FC Schaffhausen (2nd league). Before the past season, he injured his knee and failed practically the entire season. Most recently, he trained again at the U21 of the HSV.
