The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.

The Premier League club FC Arsenal is apparently in concrete conversations with Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško about a change. The transfer experts Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg are unanimous. According to Romano, Šeško has long been on the list of possible new commitments in London. As early as May 2024 and last January, the club tried to sign the striker. However, the offers were rejected by Leipzig. Now Šeško RB will leave.

The traditional Italian club AC Milan takes a new change in the coaching position after the end of a mixed season. The 19-time master announced the separation from his Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao on Thursday evening. The 50-year-old had only taken over the office from his previously shot compatriot Paulo Fonseca shortly before the turn of the year.

According to a report by the transfer expert, Conceicao’s successor has already been determined. Accordingly, Massimiliano Allegri has already signed a contract. He recently trained Juventus Turin.

In the past playing time of Serie A, the Milanese only took eighth place. The final of Coppa Italia lost Milan against FC Bologna (0: 1).

Coach Antonio Conte now apparently remains coach at SSC Naples. As the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, there was a meeting between the coach and club on Thursday. Now the Naples managers should be more and more sure to be able to keep their trainer. For this, Conte should probably be paid for a better salary. A contribution by Naples President Aurelio de Laurentiis on the platform X seems to confirm the report. There he posted a picture that shows him cheering with Conte and wrote: “Full drive ahead. Stronger than ever before.”

Naples had won the championship title in Serie A in the past season. Nevertheless, there had been a farewell contes in the room. According to reports, the reason for this is said to have been discrepancies in squad planning for the coming season. These are now cleared.

Bayer Leverkusen has secured Tim Oermann’s services. The 21-year-old defender comes from the Bundesliga relegated VfL Bochum and signs a contract with the runner-up until June 30, 2029. In the coming season, however, Oermann will not yet appear for the “Werkelf”. The club initially gives the U21 international to the Austrian champion Sturm Graz.

Leverkusen’s sports manager Simon Rolfes said that the loan after Graz offers Oermann the opportunity to develop further at a top club and gain international experience. This will “make him very good access for Bayer 04 in the long run,” said Rolfes. VfL Bochum and Leverkusen did not provide any information about the transfer fee.

Before going to Austria for Oermann, another highlight is waiting: the central defender is in the line-up of the German U21 national team for the European Championship in Slovakia in June.
