ABN AMRO pays a fine of € 14 million because of involvement in a controversial dividend structure from the period between 2010 and 2013. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the bank, through predecessor Fortis, helped with a structure with which a foreign bank on paper received € 124 million in dividend tax, while according to the OM was not entitled to it.
