It happened at the London Stanted airport. The company of the parking service concerned has also received complaints from other customers
A lady, named Sophie Rose, left the car in a parking lot at Stansted airport before leaving for Ireland. Upon his return, Mrs. Rose said she had found her car with damage for a value of about 6,500 pounds (about 7,761 euros at the change of 27 May 2025), caused by an accident that took place following one leak In Harlow, a town over 22 km away from the airport airport. The owner said he found the vehicle “with the trunk raised and the bumper completely destroyed”. The company through which he had booked the parking lot with “Meet-and-Greet” service is called GetawayeSentials.com Ltd and operates through the commercial name “Keir Allan”. At the time of booking, it was reported as a safe parking service. The director of the Musa Ahmed company defended himself as follows: “We reject any insinuation that customer cars were used for purposes other than custody and return to the owners – he continues -. Having to manage more than 300 keys at a time, however, it may happen that sometimes some keys, due to human errors, be lost”.

However, the complaints aimed at Keir Allan are numerous: some customers have declared to BBC That the cameras of their cars showed the latter parked in a parking area of a Burger King during the period in which they were entrusted to the company itself. Another client said he left the car with the full man, but that he had found it without fuel. Still others on Tripadvisor have reported that they had found the vehicle with a greater mileage, or with the tires cut, even assuming that the company does not actually have a deposit of its own and therefore parking cars at the edges of the roads. Keir Allan’s services have been removed from most holiday sites for the holidays, yet the GetawayEssentials.com Ltd company, founded last year, is still active on the government website. Not only that: Keir Allan as a company does not declare himself responsible and therefore not legally held to compensate Mrs. Rose. Indeed, he questioned the amount of the damages reported by the lady, with the issue that will therefore have to be resolved in a civil office.
