Bonne is the only Belgian participant among the 221 Ultralopers from all over the world and is aiming for a historical achievement with this participation. The world record 48 hours walk has been in the name of the Greek Yiannis Kouros since 1996.
For Bonne it will be his second attempt to break the record. In February he started a similar challenge in Taiwan, but had to give up early due to an airway infection. “The hunger to try again has only become bigger,” it sounds. He now gets a new chance in Pabianice.
