The Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) is investigating whether health insurers are making enough effort to get the right medicines from their insured persons, the regulator confirms to De Telegraaf. Due to the persistent medicine shortage, the Dutch often get zero in the pharmacy. If it turns out that the insurers do not do their best sufficiently, the NZa can intervene.
