Telstar is on the threshold of the Eredivisie. Only Willem II is still in the way of the team from Velsen-Zuid. Despite the fact that theWhite lions Promotion can really smell now, they try to be as little as possible at Telstar with their heads.
“I mainly try to focus on what we have to do. All the beautiful things next to it, I hear all the premier division stories and I will put down next to me,” says Telstar trainer Anthony Correia. “We just have to play two more games. In it we really have to create two top days to get a good result.”
Correia praises the development of his team during the season, in which the majority of his selection managed to reach a higher level. “I think they are reinforcing each other. You need each other. First the team, then the individual. The boy realizes that well. They are a close team and have a lot of fun with each other. That contributes to the good feeling and trust.”

One of those players who is going through a great season and development is Nils Rossen. The only 20-year-old midfielder is already good for eight assists this season, but he was not yet able to score in the competition. “It would be really nice if I made a goal in the final. An assist would also be good. I don’t care. Although we play 0-0 twice and we win with penalties, then it is also good,” says Rossen.
