Kitchen Champion DivisionFC Volendam failed to regain the lead in the Kitchen Champion Division on a visit to ADO Den Haag. NAC Breda had a dramatic evening visiting the last race of Helmond Sport.
The Volendam team had taken over the lead from FC Emmen when they won in The Hague, but the team of trainer Wim Jonk drew 1-1. Samy Bourard gave the home team the lead in the 80th minute, after which Damon Mirani saved a point for Volendam deep in injury time.
FC Volendam was in the lead in the Kitchen Champion Division for a long time, but is in a major dip in form. ‘The other Orange’ now has as many points as FC Emmen, but has played one more game.
