Turku Food Week will start tomorrow Tuesday. At the same time, a new and free -free event called Turku Taste opens.

Turku calls itself a food capital in Finland, so the food weeks for the third time are an important event for Turku. And the title is by no means unfounded: Turku is full of food -related events.

The new Turku Taste event, open to all, brings together food lovers, top chefs and servants, and food culture influencers, the release states.

At Turku Maku, you can taste the portions of Top Restaurants in Turku for ten euros. Restaurants Kakola Rose, Logomo, Nobi, Roster and Smör manufacture their own portions in the common middle island. There will be, among other things, crunchy perch, asparagus, tartar and wild boar rotten.

At the event, local drinking companies such as Vaski Cider, Kakola Brewing Company and Turku Distillery, and there is a champagne bar anywhere.

Two tough food competitions will be held in the Logomo Hall at the Turku Taste event. Tuesday 27.5. We will compete in the semifinals of the Chef of the Year and Waitress of the Year and Wednesday 28.5. The next Bocuse d’Or representative will be selected for Finland.

In addition, the event offers local food (including Deliverde, Mimis, Rainingo Organic Farm, Wanha Liesniemi), as well as speeches and discussions on current food themes.
