The result settled in Burgundy, France. Over time, it expanded to regions such as Champagne. Then, in the 19 America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Experts estimate that it is varietal stands out for two main reasons: on the one hand, it is typical of one of the most important areas of world viticulture, Burgundy. On the other hand, in the words of Matías Ciciani, “it ages superb and has very marked elegance characteristics.” Thanks to their history and prestige, the bottles of Chardonnay reach the highest prices in collector auctions. Regarding the current trend of consumption of this white wine, Ciciani explained: “The consumption of chardonnay depends a lot on the style and terroir from where it comes. For a fresh chardonnay it is recommended to combine with salads of all kinds, vegetarian dishes in general. And a guardian guard, with fermentation or wooden guard, can be combined with certain stews as lentils (which have been typically marked with red wine).

“I think that the consumption of Chardonnay and White has been rising in recent years, also that of other white varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc. Chardonnay remains the most widespread drink in the world. The main wine regions produce it. It is the Queen of White.” , concluded Ciciani, a reference for the Escorihuela Gascón winery that has been experienced in the wine industry and one of its most prominent wines is the classic Chardonnay.
