A motorist was injured last night in an accident in Meppen. On Kockstraat, the victim lost control of the steering wheel due to unknown cause. This happened around 4 am.
The car rammed a tree and via a cycle path the vehicle ended up in a front garden of a house and ended up against a tree and in the bushes.
The wounded driver was taken out of the car and was taken to a hospital. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
