Iltalehti gathers three most interesting points daily at the Ice Hockey World Championships. Here are Sunday’s points.
Mom died – then iihf called

Polish hockey legend Leszek Laszkiewicz Mähta’s speech at the International Ice Hockey Association’s prize gala on Saturday.
Laszkiewicz, a award -winning career, told the party that the day Iihf called and reported him for a tribute, his mother was buried.
The news caused a real emotional storm for the Polish. His mother never got to hear how the boy’s life was rewarded.
– My mother watched almost all my games. He would have been really happy about this, Laszkiewicz commented to Iltalehti.
My 46-year-old national team icon made a long career in the Polish league, and he also played in tough Czech and German main series.

Was empty
Lassi Kuisma, Stockholm
A full hut, or 12,530 spectators, was reported as the audience between Switzerland and Denmark.
However, in the third round of the match, a significant part of the audience had already disappeared from the galleries.
The Swedish -Danish joint efforts have been criticized in many directions, and the semi -finals audience canopy is another harsh example that Swedes do not have any wildly wild races.

This may already be over-thinking, but it is difficult to avoid the idea that Switzerland’s sovereign crushing victory in the semi-final against Denmark would be ideal for the World Cup final.
Switzerland reached the finals surprisingly light – maybe even too. It didn’t really have to stretch to special performance, the basic level was enough.
In Sunday’s finals, the US is quite a different country. Switzerland poured the Yankees in the opening round 3-0, but the finale is a whole new game.
The United States has improved its game tremendously as the tournament progresses. Switzerland’s development has not been exactly the same. This is, of course, explained by the fact that the cuckoo clock has been stagnant from the day from the day.
In the last two games, Switzerland has been able to lower the rounds well in advance of the final sum, but in the finals you can hardly afford it. The nature of the game changes automatically in a more cautious direction.
Switzerland has covered the World Championship gold for so long that the finals cannot be caught in the preparation, but in crushing profits, before the important torque, the danger has been peak before.
