The police are trying to catch the thief or thieves in the act. “We are not known for certain car brands,” a police spokesperson said. So far there are no suspects in the picture.

The police take ‘mobile banditism’ into account. “This is about internationally traveling criminal gangs. They commit all kinds of crimes and earn their money with them. They are often only a short time in the Netherlands and usually stay at campsites, in recreational parks, hotels and temporarily rented homes,” explains the spokesperson.
“After a short stay, the mobile bandits move on to another country or go back to the home country. So they flew quickly and therefore difficult to trace.”
