A fuss for the image of ‘bicycle -free’ Lonneke: ‘Cycling without hands is simply unsafe’

Commotion has arisen about artwork ‘Lonneke’ along a fast bike path between Veghel and Uden. The impressive 3.6 meter high image of an ox -cycling lady with waving hair and loose hands on the wheel, organizations such as Veilig Verkeer Nederland (VVN) and team Alert against the chest, because it is an example of unsafe driving.
