According to Siekkinen, the spray left on the hair is the problem that it contains hydrogen peroxide, even if the amount is small. Hydrogen peroxide is a familiar ingredient in hair whitening products and is allowed in home products, but according to Siekkinen, products containing hydrogen peroxide should always be washed away. Otherwise, the hair may be damaged.
– I know one case where the customer’s normal hair was striped. The hair remained in the sink, and the cause was the lightening hair spray.
According to Siekkinen, the whitening spray containing hydrogen peroxide damage the structure of the hair and may not be noticed immediately. Problems can occur when the hair is handled.
