Kering, together with Google, develops glasses supported by artificial intelligence (AI).
The Eyewear department of the French luxury goods group and the US technology company are working on Smart Glasses with the extended reality operating system Android XR, Kering announced on Tuesday. The product is intended to combine innovative design, intelligent functions and user -centered technology in one device.
“Together we shape a product that people want to wear: a masterfully designed, high -quality and stylish glasses that releases the potential of artificial intelligence and at the same time redefined the way of interaction with the real and virtual world,” said Roberto Vedovotto, CEO of Kering Eyewear.
The smart glasses are to be equipped with intuitive, personalized, AI-controlled functions. From intelligent interaction to context -related perception, every detail will be aimed at offering a future -oriented experience and at the same time improving aesthetics, style and sustainability, according to the message.
“We have always believed in combining lace technology with great users: internal experiences,” said Shahram Izadi, General Manager for XR on Google. “The integration of our immersive XR platform with the glasses of Kering Eyewear will offer consumers the fashionable and functional way to get the best out of Android XR.”
