A car crashed into a tree on Tuesday evening and an advertising column on the Ringbaan West in Tilburg. The vehicle therefore landed upside down. The three passengers were not injured. The damage was great. The area was littered with debris of the car and the advertising column.

The accident happened around a quarter past eleven in the evening. The three men first bumped into a tree with the vehicle and then hit the advertising column. Due to the hard blow, the car landed upside down. The advertising column ended up a few meters away and the street was littered with glass fragments. The car was also considerably damaged.

The police, fire brigade and ambulance came to the scene of the accident. The three passengers had only sustained some scratches. The police are still investigating how the accident could have happened.

Part of the West Ringbaan was temporarily closed for storage work. Enexis has closed the flow of the advertising column.
