Second division team is fishing for Finnish strikers

The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then goes from July 1st to September 1st.

The Hannover 96 offensive receives reinforcements: Benjamin Källman will move to the Lower Saxony for the coming season. The 26 -year -old attacker comes from the Polish first division club KS Cracovia free of charge and receives a contract until 2028.

Källman braid in the past season with a strong balance. The Finnish international scored 18 goals in 33 competitive games and scored 8 more goals. SC Freiburg has taken another step for the coming season – and used it in Scandinavia. Japanese international Yuito Suzuki changes from the Danish first division club Bröndby IF to Breisgau.

As several media report, the transfer fee for the 23-year-old should be between seven and eight million euros. With the Bundesliga club, Suzuki could take on the role of his compatriot Ritsu Dōan, who is associated with other clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Freiburg’s sports director Jochen Saier explained: “We have really tried Yuito for a long time and are glad that it has now worked.” As usual, the club announced no information about the contract term.

SC Freiburg has strengthened for the new season with an offensive player from Burkina Faso. As the Bundesliga club announced on Monday, Cyriaque Irié changes from the French second division club Estac Troyes to Breisgau. Concharging was agreed by the contract content. According to “kicker”, however, the transfer is between eight and nine million euros.

SC sports director Klemens Hartenbach was impressed by the 19-year-old newcomer. Cyriaque brings a lot of talent and have “really good basic qualities”. He also has a “good speed” and have physically “very exciting prerequisites,” said Hartenbach.

For Troyes, Irié completed his first season in the professional area last season and came up with 38 competitive game missions. He scored eight goals during this time.
