Wild coach rumor for Jürgen Klopp

Jürgen Klopp was last at Liverpool Liverpool. Does he return to the bench? There is also a spectacular rumor.
Jürgen Klopp has been “Head of Global Soccer” at the Red Bull Group since January. The former Liverpool coach (2015 to 2024) said about his task at “Hangar-7”: “As Dr. Football, I would like to develop everything further: our clubs, our teams, our talents, but also football itself.” Supposedly, however, this task could have a timely end. Because from Italy there is a crazy rumor that Klopp will soon be back on a coaching bench – at a traditional club.
As the Italian daily newspaper “La Stampa” reports, Klopp should switch to AS Rome and therefore already agree with the club. Claudio Ranieri was adopted at the last home game at the weekend. The 73-year-old has been in use there since November last year. The Roma is currently in fifth place in Serie A, a game of the season on May 25th against FC Turin is still pending. It’s about qualification for the Champions League.
According to “La Stampa”, Klopp is said to have apparently promised the club last Sunday evening. The Romans are planning a change in summer.
But how realistic is it that Klopp really sits on the coaching bench soon? Very unlikely. The German coach justified his farewell to Liverpool FC by wanting to have a normal life and also wanted time for himself and his family. At the time, he explained that he did not want to train “for at least a year and no national team”. Klopp was a coach in Liverpool by June 2024 and a year has soon been over.
In addition, his consultant Marc Kosicke spoke up shortly after the rumor appeared and said at “Winwin.com”: “The news that Klopp will be the next coach Rome is not true.” Even according to information from the “Editorial Network Germany” (RND), there is nothing on the rumor. Therefore, the task in the Red Bull Group remains.
