The BVB is working on the squad for the coming season. The brother of real star Jude Bellingham is probably on the list-and it could go quickly.
Jude Bellingham played for Borussia Dortmund for three years before moving to his current club Real Madrid in 2023. His brother could now enter his footsteps and also become BVB professional. Jobe Bellingham, who is currently under contract with the English second division club AFC Sunderland, should be at the top of the wish list of the Ruhrpott Club. According to Sky, Dortmund now gives “full throttle” with regard to a possible obligation.
Accordingly, those responsible strive intensively for the central midfielder. The BVB wants to use Jobe Bellingham at the club World Cup. This will take place from June 14th. At the beginning of May, sports director Sebastian Kehl, coach Niko Kovač and chief scout Sebastian Krug traveled to Newcastle at the beginning of May. Further meetings are to follow this week. A concrete range of Sunderland is obviously in preparation.
The 18-year-old Jobe Bellingham could also mature to an international top professional like his brother once mature through a possible switch to BVB. He himself is fundamentally open to a move to Dortmund. However, there is still no agreement with the player.
According to Sky, his focus is currently on the last game of the season: Sunderland will meet Sheffield United on May 24th. After this game, BVB wants to take specific steps and officially submit the offer.
