From Monday, May 19, the Roads and Traffic Agency carries out maintenance works on the Oostduinkerke driveway on the E40, in the direction of Bruges and Jabbeke. The roadway gets a new asphalt layer and markings, but that also means nuisance for traffic: the driveway is closed for a whole week. Drivers must take into account a diversion via the driveways in Veurne or Nieuwpoort.
There is also nuisance on the E403. The Roads and Traffic Agency tackles the entry and exit lane at the height of Torhout entrance and exit in the direction of Bruges. The road gets a new asphalt layer, guardrails and markings. During the works, which last until the end of the week, both the entrance and exit are completely closed. The traffic is diverted in both directions via the surrounding entrances and exits.
