A 27-year-old man was seriously injured on Sunday evening in a mistreatment in Kaatsheuvel. That happened in the Gasthuisstraat, after a fight about money. The police arrested a 51-year-old man as a suspect.
The mistreatment happened at a house around a quarter to eleven. The man was seriously injured with an ambulance to the hospital.
He managed to give the police a clear description of the suspect. Several police cars then went looking. After 45 minutes of searching, the police found the suspect hidden in the bushes on Julianastraat.
The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and serious abuse. He was taken to the cellar complex.
