Even if the BL would be better off without Leipzig anyway.

I don’t think.
The space would inevitably be filled up by another mediocre club without financial resources.
Due to the RB system behind it, Leipzig brings potential top talents to the league, which otherwise only Bavaria, Dortmund and Leverkusen can afford.

So that more potentially qualitative football, which in turn can be better marketed.
The 2023/2024 season was the hypes player Xavi Simons, for whom the television was then switched on.

And if the argument comes that the large traditional clubs are taken away: well, the tradition of which is not to be able to deal with their own resources.
But get away if you give ex-players in the club with ex-players instead of experts.

Where is the quality that has ensured that in the CL Blamabel and can only be cut off to 7th place in the BL despite financial resources and network? What added value does an association that trumpets according to that the stadium are sold out but can be seen empty places everywhere? Away fans? Quasi not available. But yes, RBL is super great for the league. Marketing? Right, advertising for the Bullenplörre.

You don’t need to pretend that the current season was the permanent state in Leipzig. That was an exceptional season in which a number of negative aspects simply came together. Wrong coach, wrong squad composition, injuries, especially by Schlager, the most important player and also an unfavorable draw, where you simply had the hardest program of everyone.

You know that things usually work differently. Leipzig has always been international, has almost always reached the KO Phase, in most seasonal points or third parties for the 5 annual ranking, reached an international semi -finals twice (one EL, one one one, one one one one, and won against Real, City, PSG, Tottenham or Napoli.
So yes Leipzig has always represented the Bundesliga outstandingly. The entire dwarf associations Ala Heidenheim, Freiburg, Union and Co have such services. who have qualified for Europe in recent years have not even shown in the approach.
And these names such as Nkunku, Olmo, Gvardiol, Szoboszlai, Konate, Keita, Simons, Upamecano, Sesko etc. cannot bring such clubs to the league either.
This is also something, with which Leipzig draws attention to the league that other clubs cannot generate.
The style of play that Leipzig was able to show in most seasons was also highly attractive.

So again, again, Leipzig does the league well whether you want to admit it or not.

As for the audience in the stadium, firstly, something builds up over time and has already gotten much better. There are much more than many years ago. Incidentally, there are now even over 150 RBL fan clubs with over 25,000 members. Second, the home area in Leipzig is always completely filled out. You can’t find any gaps at all.

And another word about the criticism of the marketing of the so -called plörre. I bet three quarters of you self -proclaimed commerce opponents drink energy drinks myself and if you already criticize a plörre’s marketing, please do so with everyone. Because practically every club operates advertising for alcohol, i.e. a nerve poison that dies millions of people worldwide every year.

So please just let this permanent hypocrisy be.

Of course there is a bad season for every club, but the fact is that Leipzig has done as much for German football this season as the clubs you cited than at least this season is not better. And that is exactly what I noted, especially with the background of the financial means and network that RBL has. Such a service is to be evaluated again. One of the financial top 4 has been failed. No more, no less. You can prove yourself again next season. Just not internationally.

I don’t want to deny RBL’s purely sporting performance, because they are a fact. Only you didn’t understand my argument, because apart from the sporty, there is not much left at RBL. If you don’t get the stadium fully despite sporting success, but that regularly claim that, then it just doesn’t fit. Official figures are simply faked, although it looks different in TV BILD.

Advertising for something is different from being advertising for something. RBL only exists as Red Bull’s advertising material. And before you tear your flap so far, take a look at who your club is advertising before you (justified) criticize alcohol advertising. Greetings to Ur-Krostitzer, who is the official partner of RBL. But fits the typical hypocrisy and victim role.
