Many illegal items were found in a large -scale check in a garage box complex on the Lovensekanaaldijk in Tilburg. This includes ninety kilos of ketamine, two firearms and ninety kilos of fireworks. The municipality of Tilburg announced this.
The check was carried out by customs, police, municipality and the administrative intervention team (BIT) Hart van Brabant.
Around ninety kilos of ketamine was found on the site. That is an anesthetic that is often used in the nightlife. The quantity had a street value of more than two million euros.
The authorities also found around ninety kilos of heavy fireworks. “The find is considered worrying, given the explosion hazard,” the municipality of Tilburg reports.
There were also two firearms with ammunition and boxes full of Vapes and the Snus tobacco bag in garage boxes. The municipality suspects that the smoke may be traded illegally.
