The German Minister of the Interior Alexander Dobrindt has prohibited the extreme right -wing association Kingdom of Germany. That reports the ministry on Tuesday. The organization, part of the wider extreme right -wing movement Reichsbürgers, may no longer perform any activities. In addition, four prominent members were arrested and several assets were confiscated.
According to Dobrindt, the group is “a contradiction,” which would constantly undermine order and be guilty of setting up criminal money flows. In addition, the extreme right -wing group would adhere to anti -Semitic conspiracy theories. “We resolutely face those who attack our free democratic order,” said Dobrindt in a statement.
From the early morning there were several fellow states in buildings and in the group’s homes. Among other things, the self -proclaimed ‘king’ of the Peter Fitzek movement has been arrested. The arrested members will be brought before Tuesday and Wednesday.

In 2022, 25 Reichsbürgers were arrested for involvement in planning a coup. At the time, German intelligence services estimate the number of supporters of the movement to around 23,000 people. Of all the organizations that have flowed from this movement, the Kingdom of Germany, founded in Wittenberg in 2012, is the largest with its six thousand followers.
