Mert Baser is one of the greatest talents at the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. Now Borussia Dortmund apparently stretches out the sensors after the offensive midfielder.

As the portal “Fussballeuropa.com” reports, Mert Baser has aroused the interest of several clubs from home and abroad.

In particular, Borussia Dortmund and VfL Wolfsburg are called from Germany. Also at the Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray as well as the Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Manchester United and Aston Villa and the Serie-A representatives Atalanta Bergamo, Inter and the AC Milan should be on the piece of 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Baser should already be in contact with some interested parties. However, the 18-year-old German-Turks are not yet available.

Baser is only bound by Lautern until the end of the season. Both parties could not yet agree on an extension.

Baser was born in Kaiserslautern and has been running for the red devils since 2014.

In the current season, the talent is mainly used in the U19 young league. After 25 games there are twelve goals and four templates. For the second team of Kaiserslautern, which plays in the Oberliga Rhineland-Palatinate/Saar, Baser was once on the pitch.

BVB II threatens the descent from the 3rd league

At BVB, however, Baser should be less planned for the professional team than for the reserve.

It is still unclear in which league Borussia Dortmund II will start in the coming season. After the 0: 1 defeat against VfB Stuttgart II, the black and yellow slipped to 17th place in the table and thus a relegation rank of the 3rd division.

On the last matchday, BVB will deal with the 1. FC Saarbrücken. In order to have another chance of staying in the league, a victory is urgently needed.
