Friday morning May 9. The day of the ‘real’ start of the Mahler Festival 2025 and also the beginning of our daughter’s final exams. Breakfast with the three of us. We wish her good luck with the last leads and remind her that we are in the Concertgebouw every night and often in the afternoon for the next ten days. Her reaction: “Mahler for ten days? Then I would rather take final exams.”
