The first MotoGP podium is never forgotten. Gigi Dall’Igna wanted to hire Aldeguer, not so much or not only for the eight victories in Moto2 (title lost in 2024 for penalties and penalties due to the running intemperances), but for the analysis of the telemetries in the races of the young Spanish pilot last season, a little, making the debt proportions, as already happened with Marc Marquez. Telemetry, you know, not mind. It also applies to Aldeguer, climbed on the double podium to its sixth race in MotoGP after having won the duel with Quartararo on Saturday, a world champion pilot of the Regina class and protagonist of two races in Le Mans, with a front row passage, which make the great jump to Aldeguer: from promise to the pilot protagonist for the final top five of the MotoGP 2025 championship, even for the capacity in the top three. Aldeguer, apart from the Exploit of Johann Zarco (a victorious Frenchman in the home GP, had not happened since 1954 with Monnereet) is the surprise of Le Mans, closing the start of the season in the shade, ready for new exploits. Thus, Aldeguer makes a great leap in the general classification, eighth (48 points), in front of Acosta (46), behind Quartararo (56), Zarco (72), by Giannantonio (74), Morbidelli (85), Bagnaia (120), Alex Marquez (149) and Marc Marquez 171.

A “good” to Ducati to have also hit this choice, entrusting Aldeguer to Gresini, where they know how to manage motorcycles and pilots. A Le Mans, Aldeguer did not miss anything: crossed the finish line after the sprint, all taken by the emotion in greeting the audience that acclaimed him, he dabbed Marc Marquez in front of him, ending up on the ground. Fortunately, no damage and the two Spanish drivers got off the podium pretended a boxer match, joking about the incident. Aldeguer comments: “I expected to get to the podium, certainly not in the third race, we are there from Austin, even if we did not closed all the races we had the speed to fight for the top5. All the work we expected to do for half a year we did it in a short time, working well with the team and with the motorcycle”. It enjoys the Gresini team. Ditto Dall’Igna who has one more card for a future that is already today.
