It is almost done: Hamburger SV is facing the promotion to the Bundesliga. A hit hit in the event of return to the upper house is already circulating.
The long-awaited Bundesliga return of Hamburger SV is not born in two games before the end of the season. In the event of cases, the “red pants” already have a promotion hit. On Friday, pop singer Saskia Leppin released her new song “We are back.”
In it, the glowing HSV supporter, who has been showing herself in the Hanseatic jersey on social media for weeks and keeps their fingers crossed for the team in the promotion race of the 2nd Bundesliga, the approaching coup. “We have come back to stay until the latest day. Three colors of my love, black and white blue, HSV,” it says.
So that after six unsuccessful attempts it will finally work again with the jump to the German upper house, the HSV must first deliver itself. On Saturday evening, the team of coach Merlin Polzin can make everything clear – with a victory in the local Volksparkstadion against the penultimate SSV Ulm (kick -off at 8:30 p.m.).
Then “everything as it has always been” would be, as Leppin sings in her new song. Despite the experience of the past few years, in which the HSV regularly went out in the final sprint, it is optimistic. “For me it is an absolute matter of the heart and I firmly believe that we can do it together this year!” She writes on Instagram.
On the platform, the singer and musical actress, who can also be seen regularly on stage in ARD shows, comes away well with her new anthem. “Will be my new ringtone, really a great song for me,” writes a user. Another wishes: “Do you sing that in the stadium if we succeed? Please!”
But with all optimism, there are also doubters. “What is actually when the HSV makes HSV things again, so it is still playful?” Asks one with a wink. “What happens when not as a promotion with the song? Question for a friend,” writes another user. Neither Leppin nor the HSV would like to deal with this question.
