In the future, two new locations are expanding the Intersport Germany network. As the trade network announced on Thursday, the sporting goods dealers Intersport Krumholz in Mülheim-Kärlich and Sport Förg in Augsburg will be part of the network. Both houses “meet the high standards of a modern sports shop with strong focus on advisory skills, premium services and sporting experiences.”
“The Intersport Flagship stores are the spearhead of German sports trade. They show in an extremely high quality how inpatient trade can be sustainable through specialization, service and profiling,” explains Dr. Alexander v. Preen, CEO of Intersport Deutschland eG. “With the flagship concept, we as a composite we set a long-term sign of strengthening inpatient sports trade-with modern areas, high range of assortment and customer-oriented services.”
The sports shop Intersport Krumholz in the Rhineland-Palatinate Mülheim-Kärlich extends over a total of 3,800 square meters, spread over a sports house and a separate outdoor house. The focus of the location, which welcomes over 500,000 visitors annually: on the inside, is located in the areas of outdoor, running, training, sports style, team sport and winter sports. Particular attention is paid to the range of services. These include an “Ortho-Box” for individual foot measurement, a running laboratory with a test track, ski boot fitting and a comprehensive rental service.
The Augsburg dealer Sport Förg also has an area of around 3,800 square meters and places a similar focus on winter sports, running and outdoor. In terms of service, both shops set different accents. For example, Sport Förg offers a ski simulator and a sports studio for personal training. The comprehensive all-round ski service also includes advice, rental and boot fitting.
