The talc format ‘Metamorphosis – Dialogues about Change’ powered by eBay will be continued in the third edition to the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week in July 2025. The event will be implemented by the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) in partnership with eBay Germany from June 30th to July 3, 2025. Under the leading topics Circularity and Creativity, different talks with national and international industry experts take place on the four days.
In its third edition, ‘Metamorphosis’ is becoming more and more a platform for meaningful exchange and creates impulses for continuous progress and change. In addition to a specialist audience, the interested public is also addressed, as both sides – the fashion industry as well as the consumer: inside – are also addressed for a real change. In terms of content, it should be particularly about the inevitable transformation of the fashion industry – circularity, and thus topics such as innovation, technology and creativity that play a leading role for Ebay and Fashion Council Germany, are taken up in various panels, interviews and keynotes.
The four -day program is divided into the following topics:
Day 1 (June 30th) – Futurecraft: Fashion’s Next Frontiers
Exploration of new technologies, groundbreaking materials and innovative business models that redefine fashion.
Day 2 (01.07.) – The Circular Shift: Scaling Impact with Smart Systems
Strategies, systems and solutions to promote the circular economy and change in the fashion industry.
Day 3 (02.07.) – Lead & Thrive: Building the Business of Tomorrow
Entrepreneurship, leadership and communication in a changing industry.
Day 4 (03.07.) – Creativity as Currency: Designing for Meaning & Relevance
Concentration on the creative process as an engine for values, culture and conscious consumption

The program is again developed in cooperation with Ann Claes, co-founder of the Belgian agency Masjien, to ensure an international perspective in planning. Over 40 industry experts: Inside, the SS26 Edition of the Berlin Fashion Week will be part of ‘Metamorphosis – Dialogues about Change’ Powered BY Ebay to share their knowledge with the interested audience and stimulate discussions.
