Niccolò Pasqualetti is the next guest designer of the Pitti Uomo.

The Tuscan designer will present his SS26 collection during the 108th edition of the Florentine Men’s fashion fair, the trade fair organizer Pitti Immagine said on Thursday. In this way, he is part of this issue in addition to the Korean brand Post Archive Faction and the Japanese labels Homme Plissé Issey Miyake of the guest of honor of the same name, which presented their creations between June 17th and 20th in and around the Fortezza Da Basso exhibition center.

Menswear debut

“Similar to Jean Arp, who inspired his jewelry design, Niccolò Pasqualetti invented new forms of reality through his clothing and experiment with various materials,” says Francesca Tacconi, coordinator for special events at Pitti Immagine. “Based on the sartorial codes of traditional Italian men’s fashion, which he boldly reinterprets, Niccolò creates collections, in which the past and present, masculines and feminines, classic and contemporary coexist in unique organic and original ways.”

Pasqualetti was among the finalist in 2024: inside of the LVMH youth price and is considered the most promising voices of the emerging global fashion scene, according to the message. Usually he shows his collections during the Paris fashion week. In Florence, the designer now makes the debut of his men’s collection.

The fashion designer born in 1994 learned at the University of Iuav in Venice, Belgium and at The Row in New York before making a master’s fashion at Central Saint Martins in London. Then he was active for the Spanish fashion house Loewe. In 2021 Pasqualetti founded his brand of the same name. That year he was also awarded the Franca Sozzani Award. In 2023 and 2024 he received the Camera Moda Fashion Trust Award.

Today Pasqualetti lives and works between Paris and his Tuscan homeland, where the collections in cooperation with local artisans are made: on the inside.
