The resale specialist Ninyes, based in Finland, has now also arrived on the German market.
On Tuesday, the company announced that it founded its own company for Germany business. Ninyes GmbH is therefore based in Berlin and is led by Country Manager Magdalena Wolf. The second-hand service provider also announced that he was already able to win four brands from the roof region as customers.
The company, founded in Helsinki in 2021, offers its partners from the fashion and outdoor industry a comprehensive solution for trading with worn clothing. The “Resale-As-A-Service (RAAS)” platform from Ninyes allow the partner brands to “integrate second-hand in their business model very easily-with a turnkey model that takes all steps: from acceptance and quality check to storage to sale,” explained the company. According to your own statements, it already works with 40 brands in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Ninyes said that sales have last doubled annually.
Mikko Siukosaari, one of the company founders and managing directors of Ninyes GmbH, explained the recent expansion step: “We are observing a clear change: Secondhand is increasingly developing from the niche market to an integral part of the fashion trade. Our start in the roof region is an important step on the way to making resale to an economically sensible part of the industry,” he said in one statement.
